Cyn Rosi: Journalist and Author

At the age of twenty I emigrated by myself from Seattle to London, England. I had only £800 in my pocket, but I had moxie and hustle.

In London I worked as a reporter, a job my first editor said was as easy as “putting your hand in a meat grinder.” He was right.

Our family moved back to the U.S., and I freelanced for magazines and newspapers as my children grew up. Then I worked for NBC4 for nearly five years, telling the stories of Columbus, Ohio, using a Sony A7III, an iPhone 9, and a DJI Osmo. I cut all my own work in Premiere Pro, and wrote the stories in Word Press.

Cynthia sets the standard for what a digital reporter should be.
