Cynthia Rosi took Puss-in-Boots as a role model and emigrated by herself from Seattle to London, England after graduating from the University of Puget Sound. In London she worked as a reporter and wrote two books, Motherhunt (Headline UK) and Butterfly Eyes (Headline UK), and saw several short stories published. Rosi came back to the US in 2003. In 2007 she won the Ohio Writer’s Contest short story prize for “Salmon.” Her journalism, creative non-fiction, and short stories have been published in anthologies, online, and in print magazines. Rosi holds an MFA from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Her third novel The Light Catcher is available on Amazon.
